A yummy dessert but it needs a name!

This dessert is so good and it's so easy to prepare. I don't have a name for it yet. If you do please leave your idea in the comment section or email me sheilagh73@yahoo.com
and I'll make sure to edit this post with the recipe name.
The ingredients: flour tortillas, strawberries, Wildtree Strawberry cheesecake blend with cream cheese and whippping cream to make dip(can use cool whip but I prefer real whipped cream), Wildtree Rich Dark Chocolate Fudge Sauce.
Prepare Strawberry Blend according to directions. You can experiment with any of our other fruit blends. They are all yummy!
Spread prepared Wildtree Strawberry Blend onto tortilla. As much as desired. This picture looks like I skimped a bit but it was pretty thick in the middle.
Slice strawberries. I happen to have this really awesome time saving Pampered Chef slicer but a good ol' fashioned knife will do the trick too!
Next melt the Wildtree Chocolate sauce. I used about 1 tablespoon for one dessert tortilla.

Layer sliced strawberries in the center of tortilla.

Now Drizzle with Wildtree's chocolate sauce. Make sure to get it all, lick the pan if you must! It's that GOOD!

It's that easy...... and it's this good!

Back from Vacation

We just got back from our family vacation to Colorado. We had a fantastic time. I took the Wildtree Brownie Mix with me and we had Brownie Sundaes as a treat one night. Everyone loved them and ate it all up. Sorry I don't have pictures of them but I will definately make them again, take pictures and post them here. Wildtree held their National Conference in Ohio this past weekend. I couldn't go because I was in Colorado but I'll go next year (it's in Orlando). I was informed by my Team Leader that Wildtree will be introducing some new products and I am very excited about them. Keep checking back and I will post the list of items in the next couple of days. These new products will be available starting in September. I can't wait! I made a yummy dessert before we left but didn't have time to post the pictures so check back, I'll try to get to it tomorrow. I have a Tasting tomorrow night that sounds like it will be a great success!

A recent dinner

Here is what I used: 28 oz can Tomato puree because my kids don't like big chunks but you could use crushed tomatoes and add other veggies like onions and green peppers (saute in Grapeseed Oil first). Also this is 1 lb ground beef but you could use ground turkey for a lower fat option. Make sure you read the label of your current pasta sauce, most don't contain preservatives which is great but the sugar and salt are through the roof. 1 tablespoon of Wildtree Hearty Spaghetti Sauce Blend

This is a quick and easy pasta dish that the kids loved. Is there anyone who doesn't love pasta? To tell you the truth I was a little nervous about trying a new sauce because the kids are partial to the organic spaghetti sauce I've been using for the past 2 years. But they ate it, said it was great and that they would eat it again, and again and again!

Boil your pasta as directed. You could choose a whole wheat pasta, which I usually use, but didn't have any this time.

Brown your choice of meat or omit meat if desired.

Add tomato puree or your choice of canned tomatoes.

Add 1 tbsp Wildtree Hearty Spaghetti Sauce Blend. Stir and simmer for 20 mins for best flavor.

Saute mushrooms in Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil until tender.

Top with grated parmesan cheese and serve with spinach salad and garlic toast.

Easy Wildtree Fajitas

Here is the Fajitas recipe I promised the other day, and it is so easy and yummy!Wildtree products used: Natural Grapeseed oil or if you like "kick" try Wildtree's Jalapeno Grapeseed oil (1 Tbsp) and Fajita Seasoning Blend(3 tsps)First open and drain 2 cans, 100% all natural canned chicken. Place in bowl, sprinkle with 2 tsps Fajita Blend and mix. Set aside.Next wash, dry and slice your favorite Fajita veggies. We like green, red and yellow peppers and red onions. But you may add what you like. The more veggies the better. You could even eliminate the chicken for a vegetarian or lower fat version. Now add 1 tbsp Wildtree's Grapeseed oil to frying pan and heat. When oil is hot add the veggies and 1 tsp of Fajita Blend and saute for about 5 mins or until crisp/tender. Last add the chicken and cook until heated through. Don't forget to wrap the tortillas in foil and place in a warm oven for about 10-15 mins. Garnish with sour cream, cheddar cheese and Wildtree Salsa, if desired. Serve with Wildtree's Cilantro-Lime Rice. A great meal in about 20 mins. Enjoy!

That Was Easy!!

My Wildtree double launch was a great success!
First off I want to thank those who came to one of the launch tastings or those who contributed to the start of my business. I know you will be very happy with the products. Should you come across something that is not what you thought it would be, rest assured Wildtree stands behind their products and offers a 100% guarantee. They will exchange for another product of equal value or will issue a full refund. However, I don't think this will happen as all the products I have tried are delicious! This is a picture of my spread: I made the Whole Wheat Beer Bread, Banana Banana Bread, Strawberry Cheesecake Blend, Dill Dip Blend, Garlic/Dill Green Beans, Alfredo Extraordinaire and Easy Wildtree Fajitas, (which I will post the recipe of tomorrow). And of course a full tasting of all our delicious Grapeseed Oils. This was a lot of food but keep in mind this is only a fraction of what Wildtree has to offer.
Not the best picture of me, but look at how happy I am showing off Wildtree products in the catalog while everyone decides on the items they want to order. Here's a tip, order it ALL! "It's all good!"
Also I wanted to say that I am officially in the green with my business! From here on out it is all profit. "THAT WAS EASY!"
I have 3 Tastings booked off my launch. Now I will be able to spread the Wildtree products and my knowledge to others. Please give serious thought to hosting a Tasting, if you have a group of friends who could benefit from these products.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

This is what we had for dinner the other night. Asian lettuce Wraps with rice and rice noodles. Another score with the chitlins'. Although one did not eat the lettuce just the filling. C'est la vie! (That's Life)These are the ingredients I used. Wildtree Asian Ginger Plum Dressing gave the dish great flavor. No mixing of this and that just a half a cup and Voila! Pardon my french! I guess I'm on a french kick because I don't know how to say Voila or C'est la vie in any Asian language. Leave me a comment if YOU DO! I'll have to learn some Asian words for when I make French Fries. Ha Ha! As a side note, I used Iceberg Lettuce, it tasted great but next time I'll try Buttercrunch or Romaine lettuce. It might make rolling easier!First I put on some rice to boil, to have as a side. Wildtree's Cilantro Lime Rice would've been perfect here but I don't have any. It's on my wish list! Brown the meat. I used ground turkey for a low fat option, but you could use beef, pork, chicken or even shrimp. Drain any fat. You could also add some diced or grated carrots and onions here. Or any other veggies you would like.Next add 1/2 cup of Wildtree's Asian Ginger Plum Dressing and stir. While meat is browning, chop water chestnuts. Add to meat mixture when meat is browned and drained.
Boil the rice noodles according to package directions. Drain.

Next wash and dry the lettuce and separate the leaves.
Add about a tablespoon of noodles. Just eyeball, no need to measure. Use tongs to grab these slippery little noodles though!
Add about a tablespoon of meat mixture. Not too much, remember you're going to have to roll it up.
Fold each side of the lettuce over the meat mixture and then roll up.
Yeah, it kind of looks like a cocoon but it won't taste like one. I've never actually eaten a cocoon but I'm pretty sure it would not taste like an Asian lettuce wrap.

This recipe made about 20 wraps and with the rice and extra noodles, it was a complete meal and only took as long as it takes to boil rice. To add a little extra flavor I sprinkled some chopped green onions to my rice and it was very good. Oh and for those of you who know my little quirk, yes, I did get the hiccups! Those of you not familiar with my quirk I get the hiccups every time I eat rice, EVERY time! Leave me a comment if this happens to you too. There were left over wraps which I put in the fridge and ate cold the next day for lunch. Still just as tasty and crunchy!

Smashed Potatoes

These potatoes are very flavorful and have a nice crispy texture. A definite crowd pleaser.
First wash about 3 lbs baby red potatoes. Put in dutch oven and fill with water to boil. Once potatoes are boiling add about 1 tsp of Sea salt. Boil until potatoes are fork tender.
Next drizzle baking pan with Natural Grapeseed oil. Be generous or else your potatoes will stick to the pan. Not good!
Arrange potatoes on pan. I ended up putting some of these onto another pan. You need room to smash them!
I used a fork to smash them. It worked but would work better with a potato masher. Lightly press down on potatoes to squish them. Continue until all the potatoes are smashed. This is a fun step for kids. Studies show that if kids help with preparing the meal, they are more likely to eat it.
Next (this is one of my favorite parts), brush each with some of the Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil.Then sprinkle each with some of the Garlic and Herb Blend.
Pop them into a very hot oven 425 degrees for about 20 mins or until nice and golden and crispy. A nice side dish to many meals.

The ball is rollin'

Well I got my Wildtree website today http://www.sheilagh.mywildtree.com go check it out. You can view products, place your individual orders there at any time, see different monthly specials and learn more about the company among other things. As soon as I got the word that my site was approved, I then ordered my business cards and labels with my web address on them. I will start handing those out as soon as they come. I'm praying they will be here for my launch next week. Wouldn't that be nice! So far it looks as though I will have a pretty full house both nights of my launch, which is great so I can spread the Wildtree word and hopefully get some bookings and a team member or 2. So far I've spent a little less than $200 to get started. Not bad for starting my own business. Let's see who can start up a restaurant or grocery store with only that amount! I fully expect to have that covered and making a profit next week. I'll keep you posted! Oh and tonights dinner Asian Lettuce Wraps - using Wildtree's Asian Ginger Plum Dressing. Oh baby! These were awesome and the kids loved them too. Which is what determines if I make the recipe again. I will definately add these to my monthly menu options. Keep checking back for the recipe. I will post the Smashed Potatoes recipe later tonight. Here's to happy, healthy Wildtree cooking! Yeah!!

Wildtree cooking tonight!

Tonight I made Lemon/Rosemary chicken, Smashed potatoes and Garlic/dill green beans. Yum, yum! We ate every last bite. I wish you could taste this meal. It was mouth watering, nutritious and only took about an hour from start to finish.
These are the ingredients I used. I would have liked to have had fresh green beens but tis' the season and our local grocery store was out. Notice the Wildtree Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil, Natural Grapeseed Oil, Lemon and Rosemary Blend, Garlic and Herb Blend, and Dill Dip Blend.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Then wash and dry the chicken thighs, about 3 1/2 lbs and arrange in your favorite baking dish.

Next mix together 1/4 cup Natural Grapeseed Oil with 2 Tbsp Lemon and Rosemary Blend.

Brush generously onto chicken.

Put into the oven and bake for about 50 mins or until done.

Ta-da! Delicious, flavorful Lemon and Rosemary Chicken!

Ingredients: Lemon and Rosemary Chicken
3 1/2 lbs chicken thighs
1/4 cup Natural Grapeseed Oil
2 Tbsp Lemon and Rosemary Blend

Tomorrow I'll post the recipe for Smashed Potatoes.
