Day One

I got my Wildtree ID today. I went to the website, http://wildtree.com/ and got to investigate the business side. I am so excited by this company and the great potential. There are only 1500 (now 1501) consultants across the US and Canada is basically untouched and an open market. Imagine if one of us had gotten in on the ground floor of Mary Kay (700,000+ consultants in 2006, not a typo) or Pampered Chef (60,000+, 3500 in Canada since 1996)!! I was invited to the first of many conference calls. I learned some great techniques for increasing bookings. I haven't even had my "Launch Party" yet. I do need to start thinking about bookings, you may be getting a call from me in the near future. I also talked with my husband about my new venture and let's just say he is less than thrilled with my decision. I'll let you know if his view changes when my first commission check comes in. I have a running list of all expenses, which right now is just the start up kit $115.00 I want to know as soon as my business is turning a profit. I designed some business cards and some address labels to put on the products that get ordered. When people run out of an item my name and number will be visible for reordering. My next step will be to set up my own Wildtree website. I can then add that info to the label and business card designs I have, print them and start growing my business. Wish me success!
